“In preparing to do this project, I was looking for companies that specialized in bathrooms. It was important to me that they be able to design and execute a quality build.

After meeting Chantal at Monarch, I knew that I had found the right place. Apart from covering all of the very important legal responsibilities they undertake to ensure a safe project, Chantal was incredibly patient with me.

She asked many questions about lifestyle, needs and wants to be sure her design didn’t just look nice, but that it was a space we could use and enjoy.

Throughout the design process, she introduced me to many of the other team members who would be managing the project so I was familiar with them before the work began. I was also thrilled to see the level of collaboration amongst their design team.

While you work with one designer, the others on the design team offer thoughts and alternatives based on their own experience. As a customer, I met several designers in passing and the designers have team meetings to talk about everyone’s designs for information sharing.

This was not a small reno and it was done entirely during COVID, so there were delays and the occasional concern to be addressed (which is to be expected with any big renovation project). I was kept up to date at all times and any question or concern was met with prompt attention. I was always made to feel as though I was their only customer and that they wanted to make sure I was happy at all times.

I will admit, the cost was higher than my original budget, partly due to the discrepancy between my expectations and reality but partly because I do believe you pay for service and quality, on which Monarch more than delivers. You pay for what you get and we are thrilled both with the finished bathroom and with the entire experience along the way. Thank you to the team at Monarch Kitchen and Bathroom!”
